Inspired by their deep devotion to La Virgen de Guadalupe, grandmother María de Lourdes Trujillo Navarro and her granddaughter Zoe Jacqueline Alvarez dreamed of creating something that celebrated the beauty of Mexican culture in a way that felt joyful, vibrant, and full of life.

Not because tradition should stay in the past...

Every bold color, every flower, every sparkle, every embroidered detail, and every collection is inspired by the warmth of family memories, Sunday gatherings, laughter around the table, music filling the house, and the women who taught us that beauty begins in the heart.

But Mi Virgencita carries an even deeper meaning.

At the heart of this brand lives the memory of Jacqueline Hernandez—Zoe's beloved mother, a gifted makeup artist whose creativity knew no limits. She adored vibrant colors, beautiful makeup, and the timeless elegance of Frida Kahlo's iconic floral style. Whether she was getting ready for a celebration or simply expressing herself, she believed makeup wasn't about hiding who you were—it was about celebrating it.

After Jacqueline's courageous battle with cancer, Zoe was lovingly raised by her grandmother, María de Lourdes. Together, they chose to transform their love, their memories, and their faith into something beautiful.

Mi Virgencita became that dream.

Mi Virgencita es mucho más que una marca de belleza.

Es una historia de amor entre tres mujeres.

Todo comenzó en Guadalajara, Jalisco, México, donde la familia, la fe y las tradiciones siempre han caminado de la mano. Inspiradas por su profunda devoción a Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, la abuela María de Lourdes Trujillo Navarro y su nieta Zoe Jacqueline Alvarez soñaron con crear algo que celebrara la belleza de la cultura mexicana de una manera alegre, vibrante y llena de vida.

No porque las tradiciones deban quedarse en el pasado...

Sino porque merecen seguir brillando con cada nueva generación.

Cada color intenso, cada flor, cada destello, cada bordado y cada colección nacen de los recuerdos más cálidos: las reuniones familiares de los domingos, las risas alrededor de la mesa, la música llenando la casa y las mujeres que nos enseñaron que la verdadera belleza comienza en el corazón.

Pero Mi Virgencita guarda un significado aún más profundo.

En el corazón de esta marca vive el recuerdo de Jacqueline Hernandez, la querida mamá de Zoe, una talentosa artista del maquillaje cuya creatividad no conocía límites. Amaba los colores vibrantes, el maquillaje lleno de vida y la elegancia atemporal del icónico estilo floral de Frida Kahlo. Ya fuera para una celebración o simplemente para expresar quién era, Jacqueline creía que el maquillaje no existía para ocultarnos, sino para celebrar nuestra esencia.

Tras la valiente lucha de Jacqueline contra el cáncer, Zoe fue criada con todo el amor del mundo por su abuela, María de Lourdes. Juntas decidieron transformar ese amor, esos recuerdos y su profunda fe en algo hermoso.
